Vuna Manghso

The rich texture and spices, aromatics and the taste of this Vuna Manghso will leave you simply spellbound.

Ingredients:

1.5 kg mutton

2 cinnamon sticks

4 cardamom

4 cloves

5-7 peppercorns

2 bay leaves

1.5 tsp salt

½ cup plain yogurt

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tsp garlic paste

1.5 tsp red chili

1 tsp turmeric

1.5 tsp coriander

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp cumin

2 tbsp mustard oil

¼ cup cooking oil

3 dry red chilies

1 cup sliced onion

2 cup hot water


Instructions:

1. Mix the meat with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, peppercorns, bay leaves, salt, yogurt, red chili, garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric, coriander, garam masala, cumin, and mustard oil

2. Marinate for 30 minutes

3. Drizzle cooking oil in a frying pan and add dry red chili along with sliced onions

4. Fry until golden brown

5. Add the marinated meat and sauté for 15 minutes on medium-high heat

6. Pour hot water and cook for 40 minutes with a lid on while stirring occasionally on low-medium heat

7. Garnish with fried onions and black pepper

8. Ready to Enjoy!
