Golden crispy aloo singara is a must-have for an appetizer or snack
Ingredients:
Singara Wrap
2 ½ cups ap flour
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp kalo jeera
½ cup cooking oil
½ cup water
Aloo Filling
1 tsp panch phoron
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 cup carrot
2 cups potato
1 cup green beans
1 tsp salt
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp red chili
2 green chilies
¾ cup water
½ cup fresh coriander
Instructions:
1. Mix ap flour in a clear bowl with salt and kalo jeera
2. Mix in ½ a cup of cooking oil with the dry ingredients
3. Gradually pour room temperature water
4. Cover dough and set aside to rest
5. Add a teaspoon of panch phoron in cooking oil on a pan
6. Stir in garlic and ginger paste
7. Add diced carrot, potatoes, and green beans
8. Add salt to taste
9. Add turmeric, red chili, and chopped green chilies
10. Pour in water and mix well
11. Cover with lid and cook until soft
12. Mix in fresh coriander and remove aloo filling from heat
13. Roll out the dough and form an ice cream cone shape
14. Stuff it with the aloo filling and seal
15. Deep fry in cooking oil on low medium heat until golden brown
