This easy Kheer Toast is about to become a family favorite.
Ingredients:
5 ½ cups milk
2 tbsp vinegar + 4 tbsp water
1 tsp ap flour
6 cups water
2 cups sugar
3 cardamom
Filling
½ cup milk
1 cup milk powder
1 tsp ghee
1 ½ tsp sugar
Instructions:
1. Bring milk to a boil then turn off the heat
2. Stir in diluted vinegar
3. Strain the milk cheese using a cheese cloth
4. Rinse with cold water then squeeze out access water
5. Hang milk cheese in cheese cloth for 1 hour
6. Add ap flour to milk cheese and knead for 5-6 minutes
7. Make 12-13 balls and set aside
8. Prepare syrup by dissolving sugar in water
9. Bring syrup to a boil and add cardamom and milk cheese balls
10. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes with lid on
11. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for another 20 minutes with lid on
12. Turn off the heat and set aside for 2 hours
13. Mix milk powder in milk on low heat in pan
14. Add ghee and sugar
15. Stir until filling thickens
16. Cut milk cheese balls in half and sandwich in the filling
17. Ready to Enjoy!
