Lime juice 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1/8 tsp
White flour
Egg
Parsley / Coriander
Breadcrumbs
Directions
Take any fish fillet (we used cod, you can use any white fish) , cut them in finger size pieces.
Season the fish with salt and pepper, lime juice and red chilli powder. Leave it for 15 mins to marinate before you start cooking the fish.
Thoroughly coat the fish in white plain flour, roll them in your hands to get an even coating on all sides and corners.
Beat an egg in a deep plate, drop the coated fish fingers in the egg wash. Coat all sides.
Cut fresh parsley/coriander and mix them into the breadcrumbs. Next, coat the fish fingers with breadcrumbs, evenly coating all sides.
Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the fish fingers until you get golden brown colour. Remove and drain excess oil onto a paper towel.
