3 Tea Time Snacks

If you're looking for some quick and easy tea-time snacks to make, these traditional sweet Tea-Time Snacks recipes are just what you need!


Ingredients:

Puffed Rice Ball

3 cups puffed rice

1 tsp ghee

260-gm jaggery


Banana Fritters

2 ripe bananas

½ cup brown sugar

1/8 tsp salt

1 cup whole wheat flour

½ cup coconut

¼ cup of water

1 tbsp cooking oil


Gurer Pitha

2 cups of rice flour

1 cup shredded coconut

½ cup liquid jaggery

¼ cup of water



Instructions for puffed rice balls:

1. Fry puffed rice on medium dry heat for 2 minutes

2. Transfer to a plate and let it cool

3. Add ghee and jaggery to a pan and melt completely on medium heat as you stir continuously

4. Add puffed rice and mix quickly then transfer to a plate

5. Create round shaped balls

6. Ready to Enjoy!


Instructions for banana fritters:

1. Mash ripe bananas with a fork

2. Mix in brown sugar, salt, whole wheat, coconut, water, and cooking oil

3. Deep fry batter until golden brown on medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes

4. Ready to Enjoy!


Instructions for gurer pitha:

1. Mix rice flour with shredded coconut, a pinch of salt, water, and liquid jaggery

2. Create any desired shape for the pitha

3. Steam for 20 minutes

4. Ready to Enjoy!
